Privacy Policy

• Account data: Your email, full name, and role (student/admin).
• Profile data: Faculty, department, level, matric number, bio, and avatar — you choose what to share.
• Content: Posts, comments, messages, marketplace listings, and uploaded resources you create.
• Usage data: Which pages you visit and interactions (likes, follows) to improve the platform.

• To show you campus-specific content, resources, and opportunities.
• To enable messaging, notifications, and community interactions.
• To verify student identity and prevent abuse.
• To generate aggregated, anonymized analytics for administrators.
• We never sell your personal data to third parties.

Your email and matric number are never shown publicly. Your profile (name, faculty, department, bio) is visible to other students within your campus community. Messages are private between participants.

CampusPaddy offers public-facing anonymity for certain features (e.g., anonymous Campus Talks posts). When you post anonymously, your identity is hidden from other students.

However, this anonymity is public-facing only. It does not guarantee anonymity from CampusPaddy administrators or from lawful investigations. Administrators can identify the authors of anonymous posts, and CampusPaddy may be required to disclose user information in response to valid legal requests from law enforcement or regulatory authorities. Your anonymity protects your privacy within the community, not from accountability.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes:

• Your student profile and campus points
• Your posts, comments, and messages
• Your uploaded resources and marketplace listings
• Your follow relationships and notifications
